Our story
Swaachi began with a desire to slow down, work with our hands, and create something beautiful. We draw inspiration from the colours and quiet rhythm of Curaçao where our founder was born and raised.
The name Swaachi is rooted in Papiamentu, the language of Curaçao. It blends Swa (meaning friend) with chi (short for chiki meaning little). We see each piece as a 'little friend', a trusted companion that travels with you and shares your story.
Each pair of sandals is handcrafted using traditional techniques and fine Italian leather. Made-to-order, they’re designed to fit your step and your style.
